I am currently very happy to be working at Bungie on the definitive Action MMO Destiny 2 as a part of the Investment Systems and Workflows team. In this role I use C++ and C#, working across build pipelines, tools, client, and server code to create and mantain player reward and progression systems. I have helped shipped 4 annual expansion: Beyond Light, Witch Queen, Lightfall, and, soon, the Final Shape. During this time I have owned or otherwise contributed to major shipping features such as weapon crafting, loadouts, and the upcoming Pathfinder objective system. I have also taken on roles as the primary shephered for a number of technical and content systems as well as triaged a number of high priority live bugs.
Path of Exile is a massively complex loot driven multiplayer Action RPG produced by Grinding Gear Games in New Zealand. I began working there as a C++ gameplay programmer and helped shipped 4 major expansions: Metamorph, Delirium, Harvest, and Heist. I worked on a lot of things (too many to list here), but notably I'm quite proud of reworking warcries, implementing all the crafting options for the Harvest, as well implementing every new and reworked skill in the Heist challenge league.
I interned at Dolby Laboratories in San Francisco during the summer of 2019. I was brought on to help prototype a VR demo which tested the viability of experimental immersive audio playback technologies. During my time I designed and engineered interactive demos in Unity and implemented signal processing algorithms in C++ to enable a custom in engine audio codec for the project.
I spent the summer of 2018 interning at Jaunt XR as a Unity Software Engineer. During this time I maintained a multi-platform VR immersive content consumption app “Jaunt VR”, created an AR pitch deck application “Beyond” to showcase company tech, and helped prototype volumetric capture editing tool codenamed "Spicy".
This job began as a college internship to learn about startups and transitioned into a semi-managerial role assisting in sales, technical systems, event staffing, and more. It was a primary source of income during my time in college and a fantastic experience for honing my leadership skills.
